About Us

Meridian East has been at the forefront of developing specialist support services relating to employment for 25 years.  The cornerstone of our service is the effectiveness with which we can enable people to make progress towards and into employment from whatever their starting point. Our whole approach is targeted towards providing services which meet individual needs.  We recognise that some people may want to get into a job as quickly as possible, whilst others may wish to take a slower approach in order to gain skills and confidence.

People using our services are able to access a wide range of programmes to help them achieve their goals.  The essential proposition of all that we do is one of ongoing and responsive action to enable each person to achieve his or her potential. 

As an organisation we are constantly evolving and responding to the opportunities and challenges of the social, political, and financial environment within which we work. We actively liaise with a wide range of partners over new service developments, so that we remain as relevant to today’s ways of thinking, as we did to the philosophies prevalent at the time we were first established.

We continue to be successful in tendering to secure funding locally and nationally, for example from the European Social Fund to offer services alongside those funded from the Health and Social Service sector and the Department of Work and Pensions through the Jobcentre Plus network.

Since October 2008 Meridian East has been part of the wider Broadland Housing Group.
